We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to join a manufacturing organization in Modesto, California on a Contract basis. This position is ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented accounting specialist who can bring structure to complex financial records, resolve discrepancies, and strengthen the accuracy of the company’s books. The role will focus on restoring confidence in core accounting processes through detailed review, problem-solving, and collaboration with leadership and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Analyze bank activity, ledger detail, and supporting financial records to detect inconsistencies and confirm the validity of transactions.
- Lead balance sheet reconciliation efforts and correct account-level issues to improve the reliability of financial reporting.
