About the Role
Sr. Accessibility Engineer will drive digital accessibility across DigiCare platforms, ensuring WCAG-compliant, inclusive experiences for web and mobile users. This onsite role in Atlanta requires partnering with engineering, UX, and QA teams to deliver accessible solutions from Day 1. What You'll Do
- Lead accessibility design and development for customer-facing DigiCare platforms, including self-service portals, mobile apps, and care applications.
- Conduct accessibility audits, assessments, and gap analyses for web and mobile applications.
- Validate accessibility for forms, navigation, error handling, notifications, and transactional telecom journeys.
- Work with screen reader technologies (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack) and ensure semantic HTML, accessible CSS, and JavaScript patterns.
- Integrate accessibility testing into CI/CD pipelines and Agile delivery workflows.
- Collaborate with engineering, UX, QA, and product teams to remediate accessibility defects; provide guidance on best practices.
- Maintain strong understanding of mobile accessibility standards for iOS and Android; contribute to accessible design systems and reusable UI patterns.
- Document accessibility standards, defects, remediation guidance, and compliance reports.
- Consider telecom data privacy, security, and regulatory considerations impacting accessible digital solutions.
- Familiar with prepaid telecom journeys (recharge, balance inquiry, offers, account management, usage notifications) from an accessibility perspective.
- Support omni-channel DigiCare platforms including web, mobile apps, chatbots, IVR companions, and care portals.
- Operate in a high-volume consumer digital platform environment with multilingual, low literacy, and assisted care user groups.
- Identify and remediate accessibility defects in collaboration with development and UX teams.
