About the Role IGT, a leader in global gaming entertainment, is seeking a Software Test Engineer to test online social and mobile games across web, Android, iOS, and Kindle. This role focuses on cloud services and social integrations, with an emphasis on quality, collaboration, and ownership. What You'll Do
- Test social games across web, Android, iOS, and Kindle platforms.
- Collaborate with development, production, and other functional groups in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Use testing scripting tools (JMeter, SOAPUI, Selenium) to design and execute tests and report results.
- Participate in security investigations as required and ensure quality across cloud-based services and social integrations. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- 6+ years of experience testing with tools such as JMeter, SOAPUI, Selenium.
- 2+ years of test experience, including familiarity with the full software development lifecycle.
- 1+ years testing in a Unix/Linux environment.
- Experience operating in an Agile/Scrum team environment.
- Task-driven with a great attitude and ability to collaborate with other functional groups, including development and production.
- Must be able to pass a security investigation. Nice to Have
- Experience with packet sniffing tools such as Wireshark or HTTPScoop.
- HTML5 experience.
- Mobile and/or Flash automation experience. Compensation & Benefits
