Job Summary

• Our client, a reputable food manufacturing company specialising in the production of cheese balls and chinchin, is seeking a competent and experienced Spinach Packaging Machine Operator to operate and monitor packaging equipment, ensure product quality, and maintain efficient production operations in line with established food safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and monitor the spinach packaging machine to ensure efficient and consistent packaging operations.

• Adjust machine settings to achieve accurate filling, proper sealing, correct weight, and quality packaging.

• Inspect finished products to ensure packaging integrity, correct labelling, and compliance with quality standards.

• Conduct routine machine checks, basic troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance, reporting major faults promptly.

• Maintain strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety procedures, and workplace safety regulations.

• Clean and sanitise the machine and surrounding work area before, during, and after production, as required.

• Monitor production output, minimise material wastage, and maintain accurate production and downtime records.

• Work closely with the Production, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance teams to achieve daily production targets.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the HOD.

• Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of SSCE; an OND or relevant technical qualification is required.

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience operating packaging machines in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.

• Practical experience with the specific spinach packaging machine or similar automated packaging equipment is strongly preferred.

• Basic knowledge of machine settings, packaging quality checks, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Good understanding of food hygiene, GMP, and workplace safety procedures.

• Strong attention to detail, reliability, discipline, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
