About the Role We are seeking an energetic, reliable and passionate Group Fitness Instructor to teach Spin at a high-profile fitness center located in Westbrook, ME as part of Plus One Health Management (Optum Workplace Well-being). This role focuses on developing engaging class formats, motivating participants, and delivering inclusive, fun workouts for all fitness levels. What You'll Do
- Teach Spin classes and develop effective formats accompanied by motivating playlists
- Engage participants, drive class attendance, and offer alternative movements to accommodate all levels
- Provide class coverage at multiple locations as needed
- Communicate professionally with clients/guests and maintain a welcoming, hospitality-driven environment What We're Looking For
- Current nationally recognized Group Fitness Certification or specialty class certificate, and CPR/AED certification (no online CPR/AED accepted)
- Prior experience in Group Fitness, Personal Training, corporate health promotion, wellness, etc.
- Strong communication and public speaking skills; ability to network and engage with clients/guests
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Nice to Have
- Specialty class license (e.g., Zumba®, etc.)
- Additional credentials or licenses related to other fitness modalities Compensation & Benefits
