About the Role Join Encompass Health as a Speech Pathologist in Louisville, KY, providing evaluation, assessment, and treatment of speech and language disorders in inpatient rehabilitation. This PRN/part-time role emphasizes compassionate patient care, progress documentation, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate, assess, and develop personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
- Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
- Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
- Provide therapy in an inpatient rehabilitation setting and support patients' communication goals.
What We're Looking For
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
- SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.
- Experience in inpatient rehabilitation is relevant to the role.
- PRN scheduling with weekday availability as needed.
