About the Role Logan Health Medical Center is seeking a seasoned Speech Language Pathologist for a short-term seasonal assignment to support inpatient acute care and outpatient speech therapy services. This on-site role offers autonomy across a wide range of diagnoses and opportunities to work with a diverse patient population during a 13-week period. What You'll Do
- Develops, implements, and revises individualized, goal-directed speech therapy plans based on evaluations and ongoing assessments for each patient.
- Performs bedside swallow evaluations and coordinates instrumental swallow studies when indicated.
- Provides outpatient services in areas such as Voice therapy, LSVT for Parkinson’s, VitalStim, concussion care, and neurologic conditions (MS, stroke, Parkinson’s, ALS).
- Completes admission/discharge evaluations, daily assessments, and documents in a timely manner following payer guidelines and Montana practice guidelines; maintains charting and regulatory compliance.
- Maintains equipment, adheres to patient privacy and rights, and contributes to productivity standards and department projects.
- Communicates patient changes to stakeholders and collaborates with team. What We're Looking For
- Montana Speech/Language Pathology license.
- Current HS AED CPR or BLS HCP certification or ability to obtain within six months.
- Minimum of two years' SLP experience.
- Experience in inpatient acute care and outpatient settings; ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong organizational and communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn other software.
- Ability to perform bedside swallow evaluations and coordinate instrumental swallow studies.
- Pediatric experience welcomed. Nice to Have
