About the Role Logan Health Rehabilitation Whitefish is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to support both acute care and outpatient speech services in a collaborative, patient-centered environment at a nationally recognized Critical Access Hospital. This PRN role offers flexible coverage to help patients regain function and quality of life. What You'll Do
- Evaluate patients’ physical, cognitive, emotional, and social needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices
- Conduct Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS)
- Deliver speech-language pathology services in accordance with licensure and current best practices
- Communicate and coordinate therapy services effectively within the interdisciplinary care team
- Complete patient admissions, discharge summaries, and daily progress notes
- Establish measurable patient goals and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessments
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory and payer requirements
- Participate in department and community-based initiatives that support rehabilitation services
- Meet productivity expectations and maintain equipment appropriately
- Uphold professional standards in Speech-Language Pathology and carry out provider orders
- Respect and support patient diversity, privacy, and confidentiality
- Notify the care team of significant changes in patient condition
- Maintain consistent and reliable attendance as scheduled
- Provide on-call bedside evaluations in the acute care setting as part of primary coverage
- Additional outpatient evaluations and MBSS as needed based on patient census and coverage What We're Looking For
- Current certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CCC-SLP)
- Montana Speech-Language Pathology license, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
- CPR/BLS for Healthcare Providers (AED) required, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
- Two or more years of experience in a relevant clinical setting preferred
- Reliable internet connection for daily documentation and communication
- Valid driver’s license with a clean 3-year driving record, if applicable to the role
- Personal vehicle meeting state liability insurance requirements for business use
- Strong organizational, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new software systems Nice to Have
- Experience in both acute care and outpatient settings
- MBSS experience
- Familiarity with electronic health records and therapy documentation systems Compensation & Benefits
