About the Role Logan Health Rehabilitation Whitefish is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support both acute care and outpatient speech services in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. This PRN/part-time role involves on-call bedside evaluations, outpatient MBSS, and potential outpatient clinic evaluations, in a nationally recognized Critical Access Hospital. What You'll Do

  • Evaluate patients’ physical, cognitive, emotional, and social needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices
  • Conduct Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS)
  • Deliver speech-language pathology services consistent with licensure and current best practices
  • Communicate and coordinate therapy services within the interdisciplinary care team
  • Complete patient admissions, discharge summaries, and daily progress notes
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation for regulatory and payer requirements
  • Maintain productivity and are responsible for equipment and departmental standards
  • Uphold professional standards, patient privacy, and confidentiality
  • Notify the care team of significant changes in patient condition
  • Maintain dependable attendance and reliability What We're Looking For
  • Current certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Current Montana SLP license, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
  • Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
  • CPR/BLS for Healthcare Providers (AED) required, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
  • Two or more years of experience in a relevant clinical setting preferred
  • Valid driver's license with a clean 3-year driving record, if applicable to the role
  • Personal vehicle meeting state liability insurance requirements for business use
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new software systems
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism Compensation & Benefits
