Job title: Speech Language Pathologist II

About the Role Logan Health Medical Center is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist II to join their compassionate inpatient therapy team. The SLP II will evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs to help patients regain their voice, independence, and quality of life, focusing on communication, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders.

What You'll Do

  • Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for patients with communication, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders.
  • Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered therapy in partnership with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments, establish functional goals, and document progress in compliance with payer and regulatory requirements.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers to support continued progress beyond therapy sessions.
  • Participate in departmental initiatives, quality improvement projects, and programs that enhance rehabilitation services across the continuum of care.

What We're Looking For

  • Current Montana Speech Language Pathology license required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist required.
  • Advanced specialty certification in one (1) of the following required: BCS-S, FEES, MBSImP, VFSS.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage high-acuity, medically complex, and specialty populations required.
  • RQI Provider (BLS) within seven (7) days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care, whichever comes first, required.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for patient care and continuous learning.
