What You'll Do
- Evaluate, plan, direct and administer medically prescribed speech/language pathology programs in the hospital to restore function and prevent disability following disease or injury.
- Assist patients to reach their maximum performance and assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.
- Participate in department Performance Improvement, Infection Control, Safety and Education programs.
- Support a culture where caregivers are valued and empowered.
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or closely related field (Speech Language Pathology)
- Washington State Speech Language Pathologist license
- 1 year of experience as Speech Language Pathologist
- 1 year of hospital-wide experience delivering therapy to patients with speech, language, cognitive communication disorders, and dysphagia.
- 1 year of diagnostic experience with MBS procedures.
- Strong clinical and communication skills.
