Job title: Speech Language Pathologist 1
About the Role The Speech Language Pathologist 1 (Per Diem) provides patient evaluations and treatments across ages and health populations in accordance with Concord Hospital policies. Per diem staff are expected to work a minimum of two weekend shifts per month and assist with holiday coverage, with flexibility to cover other Concord Hospital sites as needed.
What You'll Do
- Perform patient evaluations and re-evaluations and document in accordance with licensure, scope of practice and department standards (documentation, HIMS, abbreviations).
- Develop and document assessments, goals and treatments for each patient during evaluation and episode of care.
- Communicate effectively through verbal and written documentation compliant with professional standards and department guidelines.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and patients’ families; advocate for team development.
- Manage the department caseload with adaptability and timeliness; maintain accurate daily charting and patient charging.
- Exhibit flexibility to cover shifts across Concord Hospital sites as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology program and has passed the national certification board.
- Active NH Speech Language Pathology license in good standing; ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers or equivalent.
- Experience working with an interdisciplinary team, providers, patients and their families; new graduates considered.
Compensation & Benefits
- Per diem (daily) pay with minimum two weekend shifts per month and holiday coverage requirements.
