About the Role Oxford Instruments seeks an experienced leader to drive growth in the Life Science segment across EMEAI and lead a dispersed team of Application Specialists. The role blends scientific excellence with people leadership to deliver outstanding customer experiences and fuel business growth. What You'll Do

  • Lead, coach and develop the EMEAI Life Science Specialization Segment team.
  • Drive adoption and growth of priority Life Science technologies: Dragonfly confocal microscopy, BC43 Automated Imaging System, Raman spectroscopy solutions, Imaris image analysis software.
  • Identify opportunities, build market intelligence and work with Sales, Marketing and Service to develop strategic growth initiatives.
  • Manage customer engagements, plan demonstrations, workshops and training, participate in strategic accounts.
  • Support evaluation and development of new workflows and application solutions; contribute to prototype evaluations and provide technical recommendations.
  • Ensure high-quality CRM activity reporting and documentation.
  • Travel approximately 60% across EMEAI (primarily within Europe) and act as trusted expert in the Life Science community. What We're Looking For
  • Essential Experience: Proven experience leading technical or scientific teams; strong people management; extensive hands-on expertise in confocal fluorescence microscopy; Life Science imaging applications; Advanced microscopy workflows; experience supporting customers in academic or industrial environments; strong communication and presentation skills; experience working across international and cross-functional teams.
  • Highly Desirable: Dragonfly confocal microscopy; Raman spectroscopy; Imaris image analysis software; experience in a commercial or customer-facing environment; Sales or business development exposure; knowledge of electron microscopy, spectroscopy or correlative imaging techniques; PhD in Life Sciences or related discipline.
  • Languages: French – fluent; English – fluent; German desirable; Spanish advantageous.
