About the Role As a Print Specialist, you play a key role in the precision and consistency of can decoration processes by managing label preparation, ink systems, plate handling, and coordination with plate suppliers. This position ensures adherence to graphic quality standards while contributing to label change efficiency and print process performance. What You'll Do

• Guarantee the accuracy of label configuration, plate preparation and ink verification to avoid production errors
• Apply a deep understanding of processes and graphic specifications to maintain quality and consistency
• Identify and resolve issues related to graphical elements and inks, minimizing downtime
• Manage multiple label requests effectively to meet production schedules
• Collaborate with operators, engineers, suppliers, production planning and designers to ensure smooth graphic execution
• Seek optimization opportunities for label planning, changeover time reduction, and graphical quality improvement
• Communicate technical information and quality issues clearly to different functions and external suppliers
• Take responsibility for the integrity of graphic components What We're Looking For
• Knowledge of printing processes: familiarity with plate alignment, water-based inks, and other can decoration techniques
• Plate management: cleaning, inspection, preparation and handling of printing plates
• Ink system management: ability to verify ink specifications and formulations
• Color matching and measurement: ability to perform color control with tools such as spectrophotometers or densitometers
• Impact of label changes: understanding how label transitions affect production lines
• Internal supplier QA: experience conducting tests and evaluating the quality of plate suppliers (where applicable)
• Plate fabrication equipment: ability to operate plate manufacturing equipment efficiently and with quality (where applicable)
• Documentation and traceability: ability to maintain accurate records of visuals versions, ink lots, plate usage and qualification reports
• Proficiency in written and spoken English (mandatory)
• On-site work at Ball’s Bierne plant in France Nice to Have
• Experience with supplier QA and plate supplier qualification tests (where applicable) Compensation & Benefits
• Salary: 30,792€ – 43,104€ gross per year plus bonuses and profit sharing; final salary determined by training, experience, knowledge, skills, aptitudes, internal equity and market references (offer may be higher or lower than the range)
