About the Role Prevost, a division of Groupe Volvo Canada Inc., in Sainte-Claire (QC), seeks a Supplier Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure the technical and quality requirements of parts purchased from external suppliers and to develop action plans with those suppliers to meet Prevost's quality standards. The successful candidate will work from Ste-Claire and participate in cross‑functional teams. What You'll Do
- Intervene on the production line to observe and analyze supplier quality issues.
- Participate in determining the responsibility for non-conformities (internal or external); communicate quality issues to external suppliers.
- Analyze sources of rejection of purchased parts and guide external suppliers on actions to meet Prevost requirements.
- Validate action plans received from suppliers after non-conformities.
- Develop internal sampling plans and organize/lead multidisciplinary working groups (suppliers, manufacturing engineering, engineering, quality, etc) to resolve supplier quality issues.
- Actively participate in product development from early design to maximize supplier resources and optimize Prevost concepts/processes; develop necessary action plans.
- Be an active member of the project team as the supplier quality representative; Audit external suppliers to ensure manufacturing processes are reliable and in control to meet Prevost requirements.
- Write audit reports, validate and monitor action plans with suppliers.
- Ensure supplier understanding and implementation of Volvo processes and report deviations to internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient production. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Two years of relevant experience
- Bilingual in English and French Compensation & Benefits
