Job title: Specialist Test Technology Engineer
About the Role
Specialist Test Technology Engineer at LEONI AG. You will create and review test technology local work instructions, support test equipment development, perform root cause analyses for process disturbances, and develop test sequences and programs for test tables, boards, and vision tests. You will manage changes, ensure test programs are set up correctly, back up programs, provide feedback to Production Technology, and share lessons learned within the Production Management network.
What You'll Do
- Create and review local work instructions for testing technology.
- Support test equipment/tools development (design, test modules, processes) and perform technical analyses for customer claims and complaints.
- Identify root causes for process disturbances and drive solutions.
- Develop test sequences and programs for building test tables, test boards and vision tests, internally or externally.
- Install and validate test equipment; adjust test programs, tables, boards, and vision systems during product changes and new introductions (Change Management & Project Management).
- Ensure initial setup uses correct test programs and parameters; provide feedback to Production Technology on module functionality/design.
- Ensure backup of test programs and parameters.
- Implement lessons learned and best practices; share within the Production Management network.
What We're Looking For
- University degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or similar.
- 2 years in the automotive industry is appreciated.
- IT: Microsoft Office.

- Professional competences: Equipment maintenance, preventative and predictive maintenance, equipment repair, machine operations, machine tools, maintenance of electrical control panels and/or preparation.
