Job title: Specialist/ Senior Specialist, Talent Acquisition
About the Role Primarily responsible for the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring BorgWarner attracts, hires, and retains top talent while building a strong talent pipeline. The role also supports onboarding and employee engagement to drive a positive candidate and employee experience. Based in Singapore, you will attract, source, and hire across multiple functions to meet business objectives.
What You'll Do
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition creation to offer acceptance, including developing job descriptions, posting positions, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and managing candidate communication.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand their talent needs, define ideal candidate profiles, and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Utilize a variety of sourcing channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, professional networks, and employee referrals, to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct thorough candidate assessments and skills evaluations, to ensure a strong cultural and technical fit.
- Negotiate and extend competitive offers, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate data within the ATS.
- Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract passive candidates and build talent pipelines for critical roles.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition, continually seeking ways to improve recruitment processes and outcomes.
- Recommend and drive employee engagement activities.
- Participate in and support various HR initiatives and projects as required.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with a proven track record of successfully hiring for technical and professional roles.
- Demonstrated experience with full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding.
- Strong proficiency in using various Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and sourcing tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to recruitment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin to support day-to-day interactions with Mandarin-speaking employees in the production line.
- Prior experience recruiting in the automotive, advanced technology or manufacturing sectors is a strong plus.
