About the Role L3Harris is seeking a Specialist, PCB Layout Designer to contribute to defense-technology solutions by designing and optimizing printed circuit board layouts across mission-critical programs. This role supports end-to-end technology initiatives spanning space, air, land, sea, and cyber domains to advance national security. What You'll Do
- Design and optimize PCB layouts from schematics and electrical specifications using industry-standard CAD tools.
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to ensure manufacturability and reliability.
- Review layout rules, perform DFM/DFA checks, and support factory readiness for production.
- Support design reviews and verification activities to meet program requirements. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience with PCB design and layout using common CAD tools (e.g., Altium, Cadence) and knowledge of IPC standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to interpret schematics and translate into manufacturable PCB layouts. Nice to Have
- Security clearance or eligibility for access to sensitive information.
- Familiarity with RF/mixed-signal PCB design and signal integrity analysis. Compensation & Benefits
