About this role

Specialist, Data Analyst / Education & Business Analyst

We are currently looking to engage a highly competent and result-oriented Specialist, Data Analyst / Education & Business Analyst with strong personal & professional integrity to join our dynamic team in the Nile Business Education Department.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, validate and analyse education and business data.

  • Develop dashboards, reports and performance scorecards.

  • Analyse enrolment, retention, completion, engagement and revenue data.

  • Identify trends, patterns, anomalies and opportunities.

  • Develop predictive and descriptive analyses to support decision-making.

  • Track programme and business performance against KPIs.

  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives.

  • Translate complex data into clear management insights.

  • Maintain data quality and reporting standards.

  • Automate recurring reports and analytical processes.

  • Partner with departments to define reporting requirements.

  • Support forecasting, planning and business case development.

  • Educational and Professional Qualification(s) required for this position

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science or related discipline.

  • 3–5 years' experience in data/business analysis.

  • Advanced Excel skills.

  • Strong proficiency in Power BI, Tableau or equivalent BI tools.

  • Knowledge of SQL and data visualisation.

  • Experience in education analytics is advantageous.
