About the Role ZF's Commercial Vehicle Solutions team is seeking a Specialist - Cyber Security (m/f/d) to plan, coordinate, execute, and monitor system-level cybersecurity activities across defined projects in collaboration with project management. The role drives timely delivery of cybersecurity work, collaborates with customers, suppliers and internal teams, and supports requirements elicitation, risk assessment, and supplier evaluation to secure HW/SW design and project success.

What You'll Do

• Plan, coordinate, execute, and monitor system-level cybersecurity activities across defined projects, in collaboration with the project management.
• Track the implementation and ensure timely execution of all cybersecurity-related activities.
• Coordinate and negotiate with customers, suppliers and internal departments.
• Elicit and decompose customer requirements; analyze new complex issues from customers.
• Assess supplier selection regarding cybersecurity; cost resources for cybersecurity perimeters and cost estimation.
• Define, optimize, and adapt processes and methods for cybersecurity to the concerns of the projects in Division CVS.
• Perform threat analysis & risk assessment and review HW/SW design artifacts (vulnerability analysis).

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, electronics, electrical engineering or a comparable field with 3+ years of professional experience.
• Very good knowledge of cybersecurity-related engineering processes, methods (reverse engineering, cryptography, penetration testing, intrusion detection, etc.), standards and regulations.
• Strong knowledge of automotive cybersecurity standards and regulations, including ISO 21434 and UNECE R155, with the ability to apply them effectively in system design and risk assessments.
• Expertise in the field of mechatronics, electronics, embedded software and component testing.
• Structured, goal-oriented, and independent way of working, good analytical skills as well as confident and reliable appearance in contact with customers and suppliers.
