About the Role
Supporting the global sourcing organization by driving cost savings, partnering with category leaders to develop data-driven sourcing strategies, and accelerating value creation through supplier collaboration, innovation, material optimization, and productivity initiatives.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic sourcing, supplier development, and productivity initiatives across Plastics, Rubber & Insulation categories by identifying cost optimization opportunities, mitigating supply risks, and improving supplier competitiveness.
- Drive RFQ execution, supplier negotiations, contract evaluations, dual-source qualification, cost modeling, and category strategy development to support annual productivity and business objectives.
- Develop category intelligence, spend analytics, market assessments, and executive-ready presentations to support sourcing decisions, supplier performance reviews, and leadership governance.
## Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Materials Science, Operations, Business Administration, or related field.
- 7-8 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Supplier Management, Commodity Management, or Supply Chain Analytics
- Experience sourcing plastic resins, molded components, rubber products, elastomers, foams, insulation materials, or related indirect/direct materials. **Carrier is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
