About this role
About the Role We’re seeking a global, cross-disciplinary engineer to advance spatial audio using Ray Tracing to deliver immersive, low-latency sound that enhances player experiences. The role focuses on next-generation spatial audio expressions and involves collaboration with developers and players worldwide to influence real-time audio in a world-class platform.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement spatial audio representations using Ray Tracing.
- Develop real-time audio simulation integrated with game engines.
- Implement physical acoustics algorithms (reflection, diffraction, occlusion, attenuation, localization).
- Optimize for high performance and low latency under memory constraints.
- Engage in technical discussions and joint development with global teams.
What We're Looking For
- Knowledge and implementation experience with Ray Tracing-based spatial representations.
- Basic acoustics knowledge (waves, reflection, attenuation, localization).
- Basic understanding of physical computations.
- Programming ability in C / C++ / assembly or equivalent.
- Experience developing under performance and memory constraints.
Nice to Have
- Experience in spatial audio, 3D audio, or HRTF.
- Game, real-time simulation, or middleware development experience.
- Interest in algorithm design grounded in mathematics and physics.
- Passion for using sound to transform user experiences.
Compensation & Benefits
