About this role
One on One Community Social visits with elderly HammondCare Home client.
Would you enjoy spending time with a kind‑hearted elderly woman who loves a warm chat over coffee, working on her diamond‑dot crafts, and sharing stories about her beloved family and pets?
We’re looking for a caring volunteer to visit a delightful lady who would truly treasure your company. She has a gentle little pet bird who keeps her company indoors, and she finds joy in the simple, meaningful moments — friendly conversation, creative hobbies, and the comfort of shared time together.
Your visits could bring warmth, connection, and a bright spot to her week.
Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
