Spare Parts Business Growth Manager
Position Purpose The Spare Parts Business Growth Manager will work closely with the Head – Spare Parts Business to identify, develop and execute opportunities that accelerate spare parts revenue while improving operational efficiency, inventory health and channel effectiveness. The role will act as a cross-functional business growth partner, working with Branches, Marketers and National Sales Managers to convert identified opportunities into measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities

Identify new avenues for business growth through channel expansion, market development, customer/retailer development and improved market coverage.

Analyse branch-wise, channel-wise, product-wise and customer-wise performance to identify revenue gaps, growth opportunities and corrective actions.

Drive initiatives to improve inventory health, including stock ageing reduction, slow/non-moving stock management, stock availability and inventory productivity.

Work closely with Branch teams, Marketers and National Sales Managers to identify opportunities and ensure timely execution of agreed action plans.

Develop business cases and recommendations for new channels, territories, product opportunities, customer segments and other revenue-generating initiatives.

Monitor sales, inventory, order fulfilment and other key business KPIs; highlight trends, gaps and opportunities to the Head – Spare Parts Business.

Prepare periodic management dashboards, business reviews and presentations highlighting performance, opportunities, risks and action plans.

Benchmark relevant market practices and identify ideas that can strengthen the spare parts business proposition and competitiveness.

Candidate Profile
-
Education: Graduate Degree required. A degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering or a related discipline will be an advantage.

Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the Automobile Spare Parts domain, preferably with exposure to sales, distribution, channel management, inventory and business planning.

Industry Exposure: Strong understanding of automobile spare parts distribution, aftermarket/channel dynamics, inventory management and branch-driven business operations.

Business Orientation: Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify revenue opportunities, analyse business performance and translate insights into actionable initiatives.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to work with large data sets and derive clear business conclusions.

Technology Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools. Advanced Excel/data analysis capability will be an advantage.

Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior management, Branch teams, Marketers and National Sales Managers.

Leadership Potential: Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams, take ownership of initiatives and drive execution without relying solely on direct authority.
Role Scope & Working Relationships:
- Reports directly to: Head – Spare Parts Business
- Key internal stakeholders: National Sales Managers, Branch Teams, Marketers, dealers and other relevant functions.
- The role is expected to operate across the spare parts business, connecting commercial opportunities with operational execution.
