About the Role TransPerfect Connect (TPC) is seeking Spanish bilinguals at all levels with demonstrated experience utilizing their bilingual skills in a professional setting. We will train you to start your career path as an Over the Phone Interpreter. Candidates must be fluent in Spanish English and aspire to be a fantastic advocate for our end clients, utilizing their new learned talents to deliver superior consecutive interpretations. So, whether you’re helping a patient communicate with their doctor, or assisting a family get a loan with a bank, we want someone who is excited about using their language abilities to help others. What You'll Do
- Provide SpanishEnglish consecutive interpretation for clients in remote settings, enabling effective communication across industries.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service practices, communicate information clearly and accurately, and adhere to work requirements.
- Complete four weeks of remote/online training with a dedicated trainer, building interpretation skills and industry-specific terminology.
- After training, advance to more challenging call types and subject matter, with opportunities for career growth within the global company. What We're Looking For
- Advanced English proficiency
- Dominican ID
- High School Diploma
- 1+ year contact center experience
- Ability to work from home with a quiet workspace and reliable tools: 25 Mbps minimum internet speed, reliable electricity, power inverter or UPS, and a contract for electricity
- Address within city limits (Gran Santo Domingo)
- Internet provider and home office setup that supports remote work Nice to Have
