Job title: SpanishEnglish Bilingual Interpreter (Work from Home)
About the Role TransPerfect Connect is seeking Spanish bilingual interpreters for remote work. You will start as an Over the Phone Interpreter, providing consecutive interpretation to help clients communicate across language barriers. Training is provided to build industry-specific terms and listening skills, with opportunities to advance into more challenging call types and roles.
What You'll Do
- Provide accurate SpanishEnglish interpretation over the phone (consecutive interpretation) for clients.
- Complete four weeks of remote/online training with a dedicated trainer.
- Deliver excellent customer service, communicate information clearly, and adhere to work requirements.
- Learn new subject matter and advance to more complex call types.
- Support end clients in scenarios such as healthcare or banking interactions.
What We're Looking For
- Fluent in Spanish and English (advanced English proficiency).
- Dominican ID and High School Diploma.
- 1+ year of contact center experience.
- Reliable internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps) and electricity provision with a power backup (UPS) and a contract; address within city limits (Gran Santo Domingo); quiet home office.
- Ability to work from home with a distraction-free workspace.
- Strong customer service mindset and clear communication.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to industry-specific terms and protocols.
Nice to Have
- Experience interpreting in professional settings.
- Prior interpretation or call center experience is a plus.
