About the Role TransPerfect Connect (TPC) is seeking Spanish-English bilingual interpreters for in-center (onsite) work in Santo Domingo. New hires will receive four weeks of remote/online training with a dedicated trainer, with the goal of starting as an Over the Phone Interpreter before growing into on-site interpretation. This role helps clients communicate across industries by delivering accurate consecutive interpretations. What You'll Do
- Complete four weeks of remote/online training with a dedicated trainer.
- Provide accurate Spanish-English consecutive interpretation in in-person settings for patients, clients, and service providers.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service, communicate information clearly and accurately, and adhere to work requirements.
- Learn new subject matter, become qualified to service more challenging call types, and advance within TransPerfect Connect. What We're Looking For
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Dominican ID.
- Professional proficiency (speaking, listening, reading) in English and Spanish at an above-average level.
- Ability to pass a language assessment.
- Bilingual customer service experience.
- Availability to work On-site in Santo Domingo. Nice to Have
- Willingness to learn industry-specific terms and protocols through training.
- Any prior interpretation or bilingual customer service experience is a plus. Compensation & Benefits
