About the Role TransPerfect Connect (TPC) is seeking Spanish-English bilingual professionals for an in-center interpretation role. Training will prepare you to start your career path as an Over the Phone Interpreter and deliver high-quality consecutive interpretations for diverse end clients. You will help bridge language gaps in settings ranging from healthcare to banking, representing TransPerfect with professionalism.
What You'll Do
- Complete four weeks of remote/online training with a dedicated trainer to develop interpretation skills and industry terminology.
- Provide accurate, consecutive interpretation in Spanish and English in in-center settings.
- Deliver excellent customer service, clearly communicate information, and adhere to work requirements.
- Seize opportunities to learn new subject matter and advance to more challenging call types.
- Represent TransPerfect Connect and contribute to global communication for clients.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Dominican ID.
- Professional proficiency in English and Spanish (speaking, listening, reading) at an above-average level.
- Ability to pass a language assessment.
- Bilingual customer service experience.
