Space ISR Subject Matter Expert
LOCATION: Colorado Springs, CO
JOB STATUS: Full-time
SALARY: $120,000 - $150,000
CLEARANCE: TS/SCI
TRAVEL: Up to 20%
Astrion is seeking a Space ISR Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO.
The Space ISR SME will provide ISR analysis with Signal development and SEW experience, assist with ISR support to USSF acquisitions and space control communities, provide liaison support to mission partners, and provide hands-on support and technical expertise to each of the active RRB projects.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 4 years’ experience Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Analysis
- 4 years’ experience Intelligence Studies
- 10 years minimum in the IC
- Experience in All-Source Intelligence
- Demonstrated tactical and operational experience in military (Joint or Service) planning and conducting military intelligence activities
- Previous experience with intelligence support to offensive DOD space, electronic warfare, or cyber operations
- Experience in SIGINT
- Experience in providing Intelligence support to operations
- Active TS/SCI clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong desire to keep technical skills current and remain abreast of emerging technologies, new versions of existing solutions
- Familiarity with various SATCOM systems & RF signal protocols, systems and standards
- Knowledge of electronic warfare (EW) principles and experience in supporting EW planning and operations
- Experience in providing Intelligence support to acquisitions
- Experience in collaborating with the intelligence community with emphasis on NSA
- Able to read, write, and interpret complex documents and train others on advanced concepts
- Good briefing skills
- Good organizational skills
KEY FUNCTIONS
- Liaison with intelligence communities to provide analysis for developmental efforts
- Ability to communicate and interact with technical team members on approaches and details to support development within small project teams and coordinate external team interaction
- Provide SME level support to cyber mission partners and project development
- Working under the direction of the intel military lead, manage the intel support requirements to RRB allowing deep focus on certain high-priority projects
- Manage and submit RFIs according to submission requirements of IC
