Job Title: Spa Therapist
Location: Magodo, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome clients warmly and provide a professional, relaxing experience.
- Consult with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and any health concerns before treatment.
- Perform a variety of spa treatments, including:
- Body massages
- Body scrubs and exfoliation
- Facials
- Body wraps
- Aromatherapy
- Hot stone therapy (where applicable)
- Recommend suitable treatments and skincare products based on clients' needs.
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, and well-organized treatment room before and after each session.
- Sterilize and sanitize equipment and tools in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Ensure fresh linens, towels, and supplies are always available.
- Monitor clients' comfort and well-being throughout treatments.
- Keep accurate records of client consultations, treatments, and preferences.
- Promote spa packages, memberships, and retail products to increase sales.
- Schedule and confirm client appointments when required.
- Handle client feedback and complaints professionally, escalating issues where necessary.
- Comply with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information.
- Stay updated on new spa treatments, products, and industry trends through continuous learning.
- Assist in achieving the spa's customer satisfaction and revenue targets.
- Work collaboratively with receptionists, nail technicians, hairstylists, and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Spa Manager or Operations Manager.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Beauty Therapy, Spa Therapy, Cosmetology, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in a reputable spa or wellness center.
- Knowledge of skincare products and wellness treatments is an added advantage.
- Current certification in massage therapy or related treatments is an advantage.
