JOB OBJECTIVE

To lead and manage the Spa operation to deliver exceptional guest experiences, strong business performance, and consistent brand standards.

The Spa Manager is responsible for optimizing resources, developing the team, driving revenue, and ensuring that all Spa services are delivered professionally, safely, and in line with Melia standards and values.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Spa Operations & Guest Experience

  • Lead and oversee daily Spa operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and professional service.
  • Ensure all treatments and services consistently meet YHI SPA and Melia brand standards.
  • Create a welcoming, relaxing, clean, and premium environment for guests.
  • Build strong relationships with regular guests and proactively anticipate their needs.
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, ensuring appropriate follow-up and service recovery.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction, online reputation, and other quality indicators to continuously improve service.

Sales & Business Performance

  • Drive Spa revenue through treatments, memberships, retail sales, packages, and promotional activities.
  • Develop and implement internal and external sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, revenue, expenses, and budget performance.
  • Identify opportunities to increase sales, improve profitability, and maximize business results.
  • Prepare regular and annual Spa performance/activity reports.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, motivate, coach, and develop the Spa team to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
  • Ensure employees are properly trained in service standards, product knowledge, sales techniques, and Spa procedures.
  • Build a positive team culture based on trust, integrity, respect, teamwork, and service excellence.
  • Manage team performance and take corrective actions when required.

Stakeholder & Supplier Management

  • Maintain effective relationships with hotel departments, suppliers, training providers, travel agencies, Membership, and other stakeholders.
  • Promote and communicate the YHI SPA concept across relevant hotel and business partners.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and external contractors regarding products, services, training, and maintenance.

Safety, Facility & Sustainability

  • Ensure Spa facilities, treatment rooms, and equipment are clean, safe, and properly maintained.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance with Engineering and external contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, security, and emergency procedures.
  • Promote environmentally responsible practices and minimize unnecessary consumption and waste.

Quality & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor Spa quality, operational, financial, and guest satisfaction indicators.
  • Use guest feedback and business data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions to maintain high standards.
  • Ensure daily Spa operations comply with hotel policies, SOPs, and brand standards

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Education: Degree/Diploma in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, Spa Management, Cosmetology, or related fields.
  • Experience: Proven Spa operations experience, preferably in an international hotel/resort, with supervisory or managerial experience.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, sales, guest service, team management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge: Spa treatments, products, operations, and basic anatomy.
  • Systems: Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant Spa/Hotel systems.
  • Languages: Good English; Excellent Vietnamese. Additional languages are an advantage.
