Job Description

• Supervise and assign daily duties to Staff Restaurant team members, ensuring efficient operations and high standards of performance.
• Ensure team members maintain proper grooming, hygiene, cleanliness, and professional conduct at all times.
• Oversee food preparation and ensure consistent quality, taste, temperature, presentation, portion control, and food safety standards.
• Work closely with the Executive Sous Chef on menu planning, food quality, cost control, stock utilization, and minimizing food wastage.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, rotation, and hygiene of all food products, equipment, and kitchen areas.
• Monitor kitchen equipment and coordinate necessary maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, health, safety, security, loss control, SOPs, and government regulations.
• Recommend new recipes and menu ideas to improve food quality, variety, Heartist satisfaction, and cost efficiency.
• Prepare weekly duty schedules based on operational requirements and manpower budgets.
• Recruit, coach, motivate, supervise, and discipline team members, and identify opportunities for their development.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide relevant training to enhance culinary skills, food safety awareness, and overall performance.
• Support Heartist engagement activities, including trainings, team-building, social, sports, CSR, and team events.
• Maintain good working relationships with Heartists, management, and all departments, and adhere to resort rules and regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity

• Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language

• Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
