About the Role Take on a new challenge and apply your procurement and negotiation expertise in a cutting-edge field. This is a full-time onsite role supporting the SunRail O&M site, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships, and drive QCD objectives for successful project execution. What You'll Do
- Supporting the SunRail O&M site on all procurement activities (stock replenishment, services, and projects).
- Ensuring project execution in line with Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) objectives.
- Piloting local contractual relationships with suppliers.
- Identifying project and business needs.
- Preparing and launching RFQs with suppliers using the standard tool.
- Negotiating cost reductions with suppliers.
- Providing inputs for order placement and ensuring QCD target achievement, including claims management.
- Leading supplier performance reviews and managing initial issues before escalation.
- Consolidating commodity needs and actively participating in commodity strategy and panel elaboration. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Business Management, or a related field.
- Experience or understanding of procurement strategies, supplier development, and contract negotiations.
- Knowledge of SAP Procurement (mandatory).
- Familiarity with rolling stock procurement and/or operation and maintenance environments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to convince others.
- Negotiation skills.
- Ability to take initiative and manage multiple priorities autonomously.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Respect for ethical conduct and adherence to Alstom’s Code of Ethics.
