About the Role The Sourcer will identify and contact suitable candidates for various positions across Scotiabank's service units, supporting the recruitment process from sourcing through hiring. This role emphasizes building candidate pipelines, pre-screening, scheduling, and collaboration with university partners to meet hiring goals.
What You'll Do
- Source CVs for the different positions to recruit.
- Build alliances with universities and other sources to find candidates.
- Perform pre-screening phone calls and verify qualifications and experience.
- Assess English language level of potential candidates.
- Schedule interviews and manage calendars for hiring teams and candidates; follow up during the recruitment process and update employee records.
- Upload job vacancies on various job portals.
- Support candidate search and prepare market research reports.
- Maintain candidate database and handle records/paperwork.
- Support achievement of hiring goals.
- Resolve issues quickly (e.g. interview cancellations).
- Align with the Bank’s risk appetite and culture; adhere to Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles; ensure day-to-day controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

What We're Looking For
- Bachelor degree or student in last semester of Psychology, Business Administration or related careers.
- Previous experience in identification and support to selection processes of 6 months, for waves and specialized processes.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders; willingness to comply with risk and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in scheduling, candidate management and data maintenance.
