About the Role The Sound Engineer is responsible for ensuring the success of show and event productions by performing the technical aspects related to the show(s) production, assisting in all aspects of stage operations and on-site A/V operations, and delivering excellent professional service. What You'll Do
- Load-in/Load-out of band and rental equipment
- Cabling and patching, coordinating with the full crew
- Set up and breakdown of band and event equipment
- Audio adjustments and maintaining safe audio levels, providing a professional mix
- Audio control boards operation
- Overseeing visiting audio technicians during shows
- Protecting, maintaining and repairing audio equipment
- Assist with production throughout the House as needed
- Assist the Production Manager with technical advance for artists' representatives
- Ensure proper care and handling of all House of Blues and rental audio equipment
- Interact with visiting production crews to ensure a successful show
- Create and distribute audio plans
- Oversee audio systems throughout the venue What We're Looking For
