Overview
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Sonographer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations, producing clear and accurate images, and supporting medical professionals with quality diagnostic information.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound examinations and ensure high-quality imaging.
- Effectively carry out 2D and 4D ultrasound scans.
- Prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures clearly.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment appropriately.
- Ensure accurate documentation and proper handling of patient records.
- Follow relevant healthcare, safety, and professional standards.
- Work effectively with doctors, radiographers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Must be registered with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).
- Must have completed a relevant degree/programme in Radiography or Medical Imaging.
- Must have completed the NYSC programme or have an applicable exemption.
- Must be able to effectively perform 4D ultrasound scans.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care.
- Previous experience in a clinical or diagnostic setting is an advantage.
