About the Role The Sonographer Senior – Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) at Endeavor Health is responsible for performing a broad range of advanced obstetric ultrasound procedures and providing expert technical support within the MFM specialty. This role emphasizes high standards of safety, quality, and patient-centered care, collaborating with radiologists and physicians to inform clinical decisions in Evanston, IL.

What You'll Do

• Perform a variety of advanced ultrasound procedures to obstetric specialized diagnostic images for MFM specialty
• Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures, addressing patient concerns, and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout examinations
• Operate and maintain advanced ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to quality standards
• Adjust imaging parameters to optimize image quality and accuracy, demonstrating proficiency in various scanning techniques
• Conduct regular quality control checks on ultrasound equipment and maintain records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Accurately document patient information, procedure details, and image data in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory guidelines
• Ensure the safe use of ultrasound equipment and adherence to safety protocols, including proper disposal of biohazardous materials
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to review and interpret images, provide input on patient care plans, and assist in clinical decision-making
• Stay updated with advancements in ultrasound technology, safety protocols, and clinical best practices through ongoing education and training

What We're Looking For

• ARDMS and Echocardiography Certification preferred
• AHA Heartsaver CPR - American Heart Association (AHA)
