Job title: Sonographer - PRN-As Needed
About the Role Under the direct supervision of the Radiologist and the Imaging Services Supervisor, this individual performs a variety of ultrasound procedures and related duties within their scope of practice and the policy and procedures of the department. The scope of testing provided is for all patient ages, gender, culture and background.
What You'll Do
- Perform ultrasound examinations and related procedures in accordance with department policies and standards
- Ensure exam quality, patient safety, and proper documentation
- Demonstrate competency in sonographic procedures and maintain equipment and supplies
- Collaborate with radiology team and radiologists to provide patient care
- Accurately document findings and assist with patient education as needed
What We're Looking For
- Certification by the ARDMS or registry eligible for sonography
- Ability to demonstrate competency in sonographic procedures
- Successful demonstration of Basic Life Support (Health Care Provider)
- Experience with general computer applications
