About the Role As a Solutions Engineer at Mesh, you'll serve as the technical bridge between customers and internal teams, owning the pre-sales lifecycle, demos, APIs, and SDK guidance to accelerate adoption and deployment.
What You'll Do
- Serve as solutions/sales engineer, building strong customer relationships and trust to drive rapid implementation and adoption.
- Design and implement pre-sales solutions including analytics, processes, and technical infrastructure to accelerate sales.
- Optimize tools and data from Gong, Pylon, Kapa, Datadog, Amplitude, and AI-powered self-service solutions to improve workflows and close deals.
- Guide customer teams on SDK and API implementation best practices to reduce timelines and enable platform rollouts.
- Triage and resolve technical issues between prospects/customers and internal teams; travel occasionally for strategic customers or events.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data, or equivalent; 2-5 years as a sales/solutions engineer or related role.
- Strong API/SDK knowledge, coding and troubleshooting skills; experience with demos and technical pre-sales.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Familiarity with API management tools, SDKs, and demo software (Coast is a plus).
- Knowledge of crypto and fintech, including blockchain technology and regulatory considerations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; startup experience highly valued.
- Coding, API/SDK, and AI experience (Claude/Codex); automation experience.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Coast (demo software) and other fintech tooling.
- Early-stage team member or startup-building experience.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: USD 170,000 – 225,000 per year for roles based in San Francisco and New York; compensation may vary by location and market.
