About the Role
Contributes to the overall success of the Deposits Domain – Pricing and Rates applications within Canadian Banking in Canada. The Solutions Architect will be a key player in architecting technology roadmaps for the current applications while also designing, delivering and maintaining existing solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, GCP and other leading-edge technologies. What You'll Do
- As part of a dynamic team lead the design, architecture, estimation and development of technology solutions in working with the product owners and business partners to provide the best possible solutions within the Pricing and Rates area of the Deposits Domain in Canadian Banking
- Work with technology teams to understand current state gaps, future state capabilities needed and industry landscape
- Lead the prioritization and development of implementation roadmaps to address gaps and ensure solutions are in line with enterprise vision
- Lead project workstreams, including leading problem-solving sessions, workshops and interviews with cross-functional and business line working team members and subject matter experts
- Provide guidance to project delivery teams to develop integrated project plans including adequate work breakdown structure, key inter-dependencies, milestones, and resource allocation
- Work closely with technical teams and SMEs to ensure technology initiatives are delivered on time, within budget forecasts and deliver value identified at inception
- Lead the development of new solutions and enhancements to existing applications and co-ordinate with various teams, business partners and stakeholders
