About the Role Databricks is seeking an experienced pre-sales Solutions Architect to lead the technical strategy for our Healthcare & Life Sciences (HLS) accounts. Working with the Enterprise Account Executive, you will define and direct the technical strategy to drive adoption of Databricks' ML & AI platform across large, global customers. You will be the primary technical voice for multiple clients, translating business goals into data-driven solutions and building champions within the accounts.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the main technical voice for Databricks across multiple healthcare and life sciences accounts and lead customers on a transformational journey toward Databricks adoption.
• Define and implement the technical strategy in each account in close collaboration with the Enterprise AE and customer stakeholders.
• Build a network of technical champions, align Databricks solutions with client strategies, and mentor other team members.
• Lead proofs of concept (PoCs) with hands-on resources to demonstrate Databricks products and value.
• Present a compelling point of view to executives and influencers to drive adoption; travel as needed up to 35%.
• Work with large (> $1m ARR) global accounts; maintain relationships with executives and influencers.

• Experience working with very large (> $1m ARR), global accounts.
• Ability to form relationships with executives and influencers.
• Ability to present a convincing point-of-view to important decision-makers that leads them down a path of success.
• Technical background in big data, data science and cloud.
• Ability in data-driven business transformation, and driving change with data.
• Programming experience in Python, SQL or Scala.
• Can travel up to 35% when needed.
• Bachelor Degree in computer science or related field.

Compensation & Benefits

• Local Pay Range: $180,000—$247,500 USD.
• The total compensation package may include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.
