About the Role Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect to help Emerging Enterprise customers adopt the Databricks Unified Analytics Platform. You will understand the technologies that power the platform, the broader cloud and technology ecosystems, and how they can be brought together to solve complex data problems. Solutions Architects at Databricks lead the adoption of the Databricks Unified Analytics Platform. As a member of the team, you will sharpen your skills on open-source projects such as Apache Spark, MLflow, and Delta Lake to advocate the Lakehouse paradigm on public cloud providers.
What You'll Do
- Lead the adoption of the Databricks Unified Analytics Platform within Emerging Enterprise accounts.
- Understand the technologies powering the platform and how they fit with customer cloud environments and ecosystems to solve data problems.
- Advocate the Lakehouse paradigm on public cloud providers.
- Collaborate with customers and Databricks teams to design and demonstrate solutions using Spark, MLflow, Delta Lake and Databricks capabilities.
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a Solutions Architect, Solution Engineer, or equivalent in data platforms and analytics.
- Knowledge of Apache Spark, MLflow, and Delta Lake.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise deployment patterns.
- Strong problem-solving and presentation skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with the Lakehouse paradigm and Databricks platform.
- Prior customer-facing experience and success in Emerging Enterprise contexts.
- Certifications or relevant cloud architecture experience.
