Solutions Architect

A Solutions Architect in the United States at Andreessen Horowitz partners with portfolio teams and clients to bridge technical solutioning and business objectives. You will be the technical lead for complex data and AI-driven initiatives, guiding end-to-end delivery and ensuring solutions deliver real value. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs, translate them into concrete technical plans, and drive initiatives from initial requirements through implementation and ongoing optimization. You will collaborate across internal functions to align on each customer’s technical roadmap and ensure our solutions align with strategic goals while maintaining a strong focus on delivering measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead with AI and data capabilities, becoming the go-to expert on how advanced technologies can create value for customers.
• Own the delivery of projects, acting as the primary technical resource to ensure milestones are met on schedule.
• Lead requirements gathering, perform hands-on data work as needed, and convert ambiguous customer workflows into concrete, actionable plans.
• Represent the customer’s technical priorities and pain points to internal product, engineering, and support teams, advocating on their behalf.
• Orchestrate cross-functional collaboration among Sales, Delivery, Support, and Product to keep all teams aligned with each customer’s unique technical roadmap.
• Operate with precision to minimize ambiguity and drive clear, actionable outcomes throughout engagement.

Requirements

• Strong technical leadership experience in data, AI, or analytics solutions.
• Proven ability to manage customer-facing engagements from inception through delivery and optimization.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of translating business needs into technical requirements.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Delivery, Support, and Product teams to drive alignment and deliver customer value.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, process discipline, and a customer-centric mindset.
