Job title: Solution Architect

About the Role The role focuses on creating detailed architectural application design and providing thought leadership to enable delivery teams to deliver exceptional client engagement and satisfaction. It involves developing architectural applications for new deals and major changes, establishing enterprise-wide architecture that is scalable, reliable, and manageable, guiding the construction of components and services, and maintaining architectural frameworks and artifacts. It drives SOA and microservices paradigms, supports RFP design and solution assurance, and helps manage the portfolio of to-be-solutions to align with business outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Develop architectural applications for new deals and major change requests; create enterprise-wide architecture that is scalable, reliable and manageable; manage application assets and guide development to improve solution delivery and agility.
• Establish and apply architecture paradigms such as service-oriented architecture and microservices; provide RFP solutions and design assurance; develop roadmaps and reusable patterns; identify improvements and target-state options.
• Analyze technology environment, enterprise specifics, and client requirements to define collaboration design framework and architecture; prepare complete RFPs.
• Provide technical leadership to design, development and implementation of custom solutions; articulate architectural targets, recommendations and reusable patterns; propose investment roadmaps; review objectives and constraints for conformance with Enterprise Architecture; identify risks.
• Create new revenue streams within applications as APIs that can be leveraged by clients; bring knowledge of automation and embrace Agile and DevOps principles to reduce manual effort.
• Design standardized tools, patterns, models and approaches; ensure system capabilities are consumable by components; maintain uniform design to reduce maintenance costs; coordinate risks, costs and opportunities.
• Develop customized applications aligned with customer needs; perform design and code reviews with security considerations; ensure smooth integration of new and existing systems to maintain data structure and deliver value.
• Transform applications toward digital mesh app and service architecture, enabling technologies like IoT, blockchain, machine learning, automation, and bots; support cloud transformation migrations and modernization with architecture artifacts and POCs.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies in the market.

What We're Looking For

• Strong technical and strategic input during project planning through technical architectural designs and recommendations.
• Experience identifying opportunities within existing clients.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to review objectives and constraints and ensure conformance with the Enterprise Architecture; identify implementation risks and potential impacts.
• Experience creating APIs for revenue opportunities; strong automation mindset and familiarity with Agile/DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of design reviews, security considerations, production procedures and standards; ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to propose viable solutions across various systems and architectures; ensure seamless integration and data integrity; drive digital transformation toward mesh app/service architecture.
