Solution Architect – Corporate Finance

Alfa Laval
Lund, Søborg, Krakow
Hybrid

About this role

About the job

You will be the lead architect for the Corporate Finance domain, with primary responsibility for CCH Tagetik and its surrounding Finance systems landscape. As we are in the early phase of rolling out Tagetik, you will play a key role in shaping the architecture from the ground up and defining where it is heading next.

You will influence the future architecture of Alfa Laval’s Corporate Finance landscape and act as a key architectural partner to Finance, Product Management and technology teams. This is an opportunity to shape a strategic Finance platform at an important point in its development, influencing both the technology roadmap and the way Finance data is governed, integrated and used across Alfa Laval.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Define the finance technology roadmap together with Finance and Product Management
  • Drive the evolution of CCH Tagetik as Alfa Laval’s strategic CPM platform
  • Develop the architecture around Tagetik and its surrounding Finance systems, ensuring integrated and well governed solutions
  • Lead architecture decisions across planning, reporting, Treasury, Tax, and related data flows
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and implementation partners
  • Drive standardization and simplification in solution design

This position reports to the IT Manager Corporate Functions and is offered as a hybrid role.

Who are you

You are curious and motivated by understanding how technology, data and business processes come together to create better solutions. You approach complex challenges with a structured and analytical mindset, while remaining pragmatic and focused on delivering value at the right time.

You build trust through clear communication, active listening and constructive dialogue. You are comfortable working with stakeholders from different functions and levels, and you influence decisions through sound advice, collaboration and inclusion rather than authority. You take ownership of your work, challenge established ways of working when needed and help create clarity in situations where priorities or requirements are evolving.

What you know

To succeed in this role, you bring relevant experience in solution architecture, integration architecture and financial systems, together with the ability to translate business needs into scalable and well-governed technology solutions. We believe our ideal candidate has:

  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, Senior Functional Architect or in a similar role
  • Experience designing solution and integration architectures across complex systems landscapes
  • Knowledge of financial data, finance processes and terminology, with the ability to understand data flows across planning, reporting, Treasury, Tax or related Finance domains
  • Experience with modern data warehouse and data platform technologies, such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Data Factory pipelines and Azure Data Lake
  • Experience using Azure DevOps repositories or similar tools for managing technical solutions and development collaboration
  • Ability to design integrations that support data quality, traceability and effective governance
  • Experience working in an international environment, preferably within a larger global company
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

It is an advantage if you have experience with:

  • CCH Tagetik or another Corporate Performance Management platform
  • Agile ways of working; knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • Large-scale transformation programmes and enterprise integrations is an advantage
  • Data & Analytics or AI initiatives
  • Fluency in Swedish, both written and spoken.
