About the Role We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL-A driver for a local, home-daily route in College Park, GA. This is a local, yard-based position with consistent, year-round work and shifts that typically start in the evening. What You'll Do
- Drive local CDL-A routes as a Solo driver.
- Operate Class A tractor with 53’ dry van trailers and intermodal containers, with up to 11 hours of driving per day.
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies; complete required pre-employment checks.
- Use handheld devices and smartphone apps for dispatch, logs, and updates.
- Stay home daily; work primarily on shifts from 4 PM to midnight, with 12–14 hour shifts. What We're Looking For
- Valid Class A CDL; 21+ years old.
- 3–6 months over-the-road (OTR) experience preferred.
- Clean MVR; valid DOT medical card.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening and drug test.
- Comfortable using handheld devices and smartphone applications. Nice to Have
- Intermodal/container experience.
- Additional shifts or overtime availability. Compensation & Benefits
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week at $23/hour.
- Overtime paid after 40 hours (not guaranteed; based on performance and availability).
