About the Role As a Solderer, you will assemble electronic components into printed circuit boards using Surface Mount and Through-Hole technologies in a lean manufacturing environment. You will follow documented procedures, verify materials, solder components, and help maintain a clean, organized workspace. What You'll Do
- Follow assembly procedures and process documentation.
- Verify integrity of materials to be assembled.
- Assemble and/or solder electronic components to printed circuit boards.
- Understand and follow ISO and job-specific procedures.
- Responsible for the accuracy of work-in-process.
- Responsible for the cleanliness of work area and surrounding workspace.
- Pre-form component leads per process documentation.
- Identify and report defective components.
- Other responsibilities as directed and necessary for the business. What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years’ experience in electronics.
- Knowledge of component identification and nomenclature.
- Electronic component assembly skills.
- Must pass soldering skills test and be proficient with soldering; lead-free soldering experience is a plus.
- Ability to read assembly procedures and follow process documentation in English.
- Knowledge of IPC Acceptability Guideline.
- IPC 610 certified.
- IPC-J-STD certified.
- Basic computer skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to work and communicate effectively in a lean team environment. Nice to Have
- Eco wiring ability is a plus. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: Starting at $21.00 per hour, depending on experience.
