Solar Installation Engineer
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-Time (Monday-Friday)
Salary: N350,000
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Solar Installation Engineer to independently execute the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar PV and battery energy storage systems. This is a hands-on technical role, not a supervisory-only position.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct site surveys, load calculations, and solar system sizing.

Install and configure solar panels, inverters, lithium batteries, charge controllers, and associated electrical equipment.

Perform electrical wiring, system testing, commissioning, and performance verification.

Diagnose and resolve electrical, communication, and system integration faults.

Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.

Apply working knowledge of ATS, STS, EMS, and battery management systems.

Ensure compliance with approved designs, manufacturer specifications, and electrical safety standards.

Prepare installation, commissioning, and maintenance reports.

Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline (mandatory).

Minimum of 3 years of post-NYSC core solar installation experience.

Proven ability to independently install, configure, commission, and troubleshoot solar PV and lithium battery systems.

Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, load calculations, and system sizing.

Good technical problem-solving skills and understanding of electrical safety procedures.
