About the Role

We are looking for a Software Testing Analyst to help deliver reliable web applications, APIs, data integrations, and AI-powered features. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to define quality criteria, identify risks early, and assess whether features are ready for release.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements and define acceptance criteria, test plans, and regression scenarios.

• Assess AI-generated responses for relevance, factual support, consistency, and correct use of supporting sources.

• Validate data across application screens, APIs, databases, and generated outputs.

• Cover edge cases and failure scenarios, including invalid inputs, timeouts, interrupted requests, and access restrictions.

• Own defects from discovery through resolution: investigate issues, communicate their impact, and verify fixes.

• Build and maintain automated checks, reusable test data, and quality documentation.

• Communicate quality risks and provide clear recommendations on release readiness.

• Must know

• Test-case design, manual testing, regression testing, and defect management.

• Programming in Python, Java, or a similar language, with the ability to write validation scripts.

• API testing, including HTTP, JSON, and response validation.

• SQL for data validation and troubleshooting.

• Test automation using a framework such as pytest, Selenium, or Playwright.

• SDLC, STLC, Git, and collaborative delivery practices.

• Structured problem-solving and clear communication.

• Good to know

• Quality evaluation for AI applications, including prompt variations, unsupported claims, source grounding, and response quality.

• Large language model and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) concepts.

• CI/CD pipelines, application logs, and browser developer tools.

• Accessibility, performance, and security testing.

• Relevant experience may come from professional work, internships, or substantial projects. We value someone who takes initiative and can drive quality from requirements through release.

• Education & Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant work experience

• Problem-Solving

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root-cause analysis.

• Ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
