About the Role MTSI is seeking a Software Test Engineer in Dayton, OH to join our software quality assurance team to design and execute test plans for software products. This role focuses on ensuring product quality and reliability throughout development and release cycles. What You'll Do
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases to validate software functionality
- Perform software validation and regression testing across platforms
- Collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, and product teams to identify defects and ensure quality
- Document defects, reproduce issues, and track progress
- Contribute to test automation efforts as needed What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience with software testing methodologies and quality assurance processes
- Familiarity with test automation tools and scripting is a plus
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work onsite in Dayton, OH
